Abstract

The research explores how to establish a sustainable rural farm in Fayoum based on

the “farm to table” concept, which promotes rural tourism and reflects the environmental and cultural heritage of the region. The project includes green areas, a restaurant serving fresh farm produce, and a handicraft market.Fayoum was chosen due to its proximity to Cairo and its natural richness, making it an ideal destination for experiencing the preferred life.
The design is based on the integration of architecture and natural elements such as wood, clay and palm fronds. The project also participated in sustainability through the use of natural, modern products, and renewable energy sources.
